Some other stuff
Hi all,
Some of you (well, if anyone actually reads this) might have thought I'd gone over to 3D. Not so! I'm having fun learning it, but of course the main body of my work is still cartooning and digital painting.
Here's a Halloween poster I did for the school's contest and some sample pages from my thesis comic. Of course, right now, they're sans text, and need some changes... you might notice that not all the panel borders are the same thickness... but I'll get to that later.
Later days!

New Blog
The old (two post) blog is going away, for a very silly reason. I do not know what I was thinking of when I picked that name. I do not like gum, and should not have a blog called "maybe gum." There will never be gum. That doesn't make any sense.
For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about and just found this blog on your own, I'll introduce myself.
My name is Jack Cooke, I am a 21 year old illustrator and a student at the Maryland Institute College of Art, or MICA. I create most of my illustrations in pen and ink, watercolor, and digital media. My subject matter can be all over the place, but I like to draw cute things, and scary things, and things that are somewhere in between. I'm always open to collaborations and commissions... unless I am busy, or don't feel like it.
Outside of art, I like to swim, play waterpolo, read (anything from comics to classical literature)
and write short stories. I'm a big fan of videogames, although I don't have time to play many, and I love cartoons.
Alright, now it's time to post some art. I'll try and keep it to newer stuff, but we'll see.
